>A Good Doctor is someone 'who thinks about makes a good doctor?'

This is a fantastic show that tears up on two fronts
1. Sick patients and their families ; struggles to recover in the Pediatrics Department
2. Our Good Doctor and stigmata ; trauma he faced/faces

The writers have exploited the plot very well and paced it beautifully ; I cannot vouch for all the Medical Jargon in the show but seems well researched. This isn't just a medical drama ; its much more and you will definetly enjoy it even if you were not looking for a Medical Care.

The beginning of the drama really ticked me off, because the characters were really jerks. **I didn't know what to think when even the characters that I thought of as "good" guys were totally horrible to Park Shi On. However, that is what makes this drama great in the end. The character development is worth all the pain at the beginning. As the story progresses, there are reasons behind the characters actions. **I thought it touched on something that is really important being the way people treat people with disabilities. Sometimes I think we forget that they are people with emotions just like everyone else.

I also love how Park Shi On helped the other characters heal and become better people. Joo Won is a great actor. His portrayal of genius, autistic Park Shi On is really well done. I don't think that is an easy part for anyone. I was just watched his Yong Pal just before this and he has delivered a very good performance here .

Moon Chae Won ( from Innoncent Man) didn't fail to be believable as Dr. Cha. I was really ticked at her at some points in this drama and I think that is due to her great acting abilities. Ko Chang -Seok as (Senior) was very funny with his expressions.

Whats appalling with this show was the writers portrayal of Park Shi On's disablity as curable and they tried to show that with enough love he can overcome drama and growup to be a man and fall in love. In reality this is far-fetched but neverthless they didn't have years to drag it and both hospital and Shion are on strict deadlines .
What was lacking also the Director Chois involvement with Shion once he got in ; he was a customary vistior ; never really provided any emotional support ; should have shown more interactions with him like a fatherly figure.
