I just finished watching this stand-up and it's difficult to gather my words right now. I knew her from Please like me so I clicked on her Netflix video, expecting something funny, maybe some sarcasm, some jokes about her being lesbian... I didn't expect all the truths and beautiful, angry and powerful speech that she gave. Please watch it, it's worth your time

Oh wow. Half an hour in, I thought to myself: _every_ lesbian should watch this. An hour in, I realised _EVERYONE_ should watch this. I have never been introduced to Hannah Gadsby before this show and now having seen it I want to support her in everything she does. Hannah's humour, her gift with words, as well as her sensitivity and honesty made this show an absolute joy to watch. From the tension, to the laughter, to the anger; it was all incredible. _**"Diversity is strength, difference is a teacher".**_ Just one of the many powerful quotes from _Nanette_ that you'll want to incorporate into your own mantra. Don't hesitate, watch the show and recommend it your friends.

Loved her in _Please Like Me_ loads, but always found her to be under-utilized to a great degree. Here, she truly shines. This is the voice and the story I've been waiting to hear. This is the voice and the story we need this year.
