With the rise of PC-Culture and Social Justice Warriors becoming figurative Nazi's whilst making actual ones. And half the world slowly descending to return to the late 30's when a couple of white nations rose up before being defeated by a group of white and non-white nations. You have to figure eventually there would be a show that would kick some chins. You'd wonder what kind of show they'd make? Would they make Archie Bunker but not sarcastic... ofcourse not cause that would be an epic lawsuit from the Riverdale creators.

Well wonder no longer! Do you dislike political correctness, are you tired of seeing someone else's viewpoint being shoved down your throat? Blahblah etcetera... This is a show that has a diverse cast with people in all shapes and sizes and they all are, in their own unique way, dicks. It presses a finger on the nasty side of this new culture that is slowly taking over the media landscape, holds no punches for the old one and does it in a funny, ironic and satirical way. Get ready for a stylish series that takes a lot from Riverdale and the original Heathers and weaves it into a lovely mish mash of 80s and 18s. Suicide is painless and we don't necessarily need the drama like it was portrayed in 13 Reasons Why. Certain scenes and how they are presented are simply "how they are" despite their exaggerated and so delightfully cynical [spoiler] (yellow Heather's suicide roll for example)[/spoiler] portrayal.

I watched the movie a while back and didn't think much of it. It was ok, it was cult for sure but I didn't see all the hubbub around it. With this series however... I do. I applaud it for being a counter to 80% of the series and movies that attempt to shove it in, for being so goddamn neon, for not shying away from what is right or wrong. The acting is a small notch under over-the-top I fail to see how one cannot see this for what it is. There's a lot in this show for those willing to scratch the surface even though it rehashes quite a few things and is, at times, tedious.
