Hostages S02 starts where S01 Ends. Prithvi Singh (Ronit) after capturing Handa , unfortunately gets trapped in an old mansion where he plays the hostage route to get a clean exit and meanwhile save his wife's life. Things so sideways when a Hitman starts killing people in order to find Handa.

:man:‍⚖ Review :
Hostages S02 is typica as dramatized events to add masala for indian Audience. It's Fairly engaging with twists and cliffhangers at regular intervals. Director Sudhir Mishra has added great efforts in adding multiple parallel plots leading to unraveling of dark secrets which gives this show a better angle. Meanwhile for those who have watched Money Heist many events may look similar to the scenes we already have seen. While not quite as riveting as its precursor, this season has impressive production values and fine performances.

Among them are Ronit Bose Roy, who returns as the mastermind Prithvi Singh, Aashim Gulati as Prithvi's sensitive and steadfast brother-in-law Aman and Divya Dutta as the perceptive negotiator. Dino Morea and Shweta Basu have done brilliant jobs as the hitman and the investigator as well.

:thumbsup:Goods :
1. Better Production Value + Multiple Twists and Cliffhangers
2. Ronit Roy and Divya Dutta Outstanding.

:fire: Final Rating : 7/10

:white_check_mark: Verdict : Overall, Hostages S02 is a definite binge worthy material with regular twists and turns and brilliant Performances. But keep in mind this show felt like having overuse of swearing which wasn't required. In the End a quite gripping watch (Binge Worthy )

:man:‍⚖ Review :
Hostages, is Hindi remake of the Israeli show of the same name. This is a generic thriller that offers nothing new in terms of the story it tells as. The Season is divided into 10 Episodes and kept very tight considering the screenplay which is decently engaging. However the premise slowly seem to be implausible when slowly the lives of all family members who are now kidnapped reveal with gradual episodes. Sudhir Mishra's screenplay is exciting at parts and not always succeed in keeping the intensity of the show.

What Hostages achieves is good ‘masala’ fare, the kind that’s mostly eluded OTT platforms trying to create local content in India. The show scores high in the Indian context because we desis love our big, dramatic moments over highly intricate plots.
Performances are brilliant from specially the leads Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra. They hold the episodes tight due to their brilliant acting and screen presence.
