Agreed. There are some awesome 80's and 90's animated tv shows. Those were the good old times (lol, am i really already that old that i start to reminisce about other times?) of tv shows like Ducktales, Spider-Man (1994), The Ren and Stimpy Show and for the Dutch, Belgian and maybe German people under us: Alfred J. Kwak, Dommel and Boes.

Educational and fun. That's simply put not done anymore. I do understand why though, back in those years except for the USA a lot of countries did not yet have a lot of commercial broadcast channels. Everything had to be put on public government channels, and most if not all of the governments demanded educational tv shows for kids. So where there is a demand, there is also supply. And this is the end result.

This is on Netflix now and now my kids get to enjoy the same show that I did. The Dutch dub hasn’t really aged well.
