This is the _Apocalypse Now_ of humor specials, the slow descent into madness of a genius ... so desperate, so entertaining, so sad, so good.

Fucking hell, this guy is such an artist. His talent is unlimited, and that's kinda scary ... for him. I hope he stays strong. For his sake.

That was like swallowing a brick (in the good sense). An indie movie masked as a comedy special masked as a compilation of bill wurtz youtube videos on crack. I'd seen people say it gets kind of intense around the hour mark, but I've been in a state of existential crisis for the past hour and a half. I'm not sure I'd have the strength to rewatch it anytime soon, but I loved every minute of it. Highly recommended!

It wouldn't be accurate to say I grew up alongside Bo Burnham. He's six years older than me. So I've gotten to see him grow, but he was always a step ahead on the road. Then suddenly, in this special, we're side by side, and I feel a horrifying catharsis at being in the same place as him. The thrill and terror of being seen. I want to run back inside and watch him on the outside, going through it with a wry joke. But we're all stuck in this. Stuck inside, and that inside is so much more than just a quarantine. Even though this is probably _the_ quarantine media, it's about everything too.The outside is inside, everything is inside, and yet we've never felt more distant despite going through the same thing. I was left undone. Devastated. Funny Feeling left me weeping. It's just an incredible piece of work that'll stick with me for a long time.

bo does it again.

visually stunning, and great songs. He's captured and distilled the collective trauma of the past year into this special and the mental toll of being inside and living our lives online as its mediated through the screens of our computers and phones.

Best Bo Burnham special yet. Often feeling like an intimate performance for just one viewer. Innovative & funny, emotional & catchy. Everything that makes us adore Bo's superlative creative talent.

He outdid himself with this one. Captivating from start to finish.

Not as consistently funny as Burnham's previous specials, but deeply personal and sometimes gets quite dark as he works through his demons during a particularly difficult time. It's truly astounding how much creativity is on display in such a limited space, and some of the songs are genuine earworms. I appreciated the footage included of Burnham setting up for his bits and performances, revealing the hard work that went into putting it all together. The reaction video to his song that evolved into a chain of seemingly neverending reactions to reacting made me laugh the hardest.

This feels like a black mirror episode. Feels voyeuristic to watch a man during the pandemic, trapped inside of his room and in his own mind, slowly unravelling. So creative and so much talent, but also so raw and dark. I can't tell if he really is this unwell or if he's taken creative license with it. Either way, it was so fascinating to watch.

Yup he’s still got it. There is no end to this dudes talent. The directing and camera shots were honestly my favorite parts. I mean the songs were great too, of course.

Before: Oh my god yes, Bo's back baby. This must mean he's a lot better!

After: Oh no.

10/10, which is impressive for a "comedy" special that mostly just made me sad.

Great special. Great recordings, shooting and cutting. Bo is very clever and his style is new to me, there is a certain freshness in his work even if it can get deep and dark turns. I loved it
