Season 1: If you'd like to watch Australians eviscerate one another's labors of love for the sake of a trip to California, then this is a great option to consider. The show is broken up oddly into two parts, Episodes 1-5 featuring one group of people, Episodes 6-10 featuring another, and then Episodes 11 & 12 as a finale showdown between the winners of the first two parts. The sets of episodes feel very different from one another. A rocky start to this show. I found the finale episodes to have the best structure and it was fun to see how the hosts had changed their homes based on previous feedback. I wish that somehow could have been the mechanic of the entire sire. I'm interested to watch Season 2, if only to see if they can change some of the rules and structure of the show to make it more engaging and fair. I will say that I enjoyed seeing different regions of Australia and, as someone who is hoping to own a home soon, I had fun getting home decorating inspiration.
