incredibly interesting concept for an absurdly tension packed series

as of now only 6 episodes are available, and I'm literally craving for more I hope it will get continued because the story has so much potential.

Not without flaws, but if you find the premise intriguing, the series is really very binge-worthy. The acting is decent, the direction pretty good. I'll be excepting the second season with excitement

Thought this might be an anthology series - glad it's not. I really liked this show - the characters are developed well along the way, and the entire premise of the show is intriguing. I hope it lasts (and gets renewed) for 3 seasons - I can see where this story would unfold very well in 3 acts (maybe 4). But anything beyond that would be jumping the shark.

Surprisingly interesting! The moment I saw the title and poster of this series, I thought it's just another show that features experiences of people when in turbulence or plane hijacking. But it's not. Maybe a little of those but it is more exciting than I thought.
I thought it would be boring since the plot looks like could just fit into 1 episode or just like a movie. But every episode is thrilling. It's not dragging. What's good with this show is how this was written. Every character has its own skill set. Skills that are essential for their survival, what they can offer to each other to survive. The journey of the characters, what they need to do and how they do these are the things you'll definitely look for in the entire series.

Each episode is short - between about 35-45 minutes.

And honestly, that's it's only saving grace. The show starts well, with a NATO solider hijacking a plane and demanding it fly West immediately to avoid the sun. Ok... but that's about the only interesting thing in the show.

The rest is just some unlikely coincidences and a lot of manufactured interpersonal drama between the passengers and silly logic. The show is extremely low budget... and it shows by rarely if ever leaving the plane interior. There are some very rudimentary occasional FX.

That said, low budget isn't really a bad thing - see the movie Cube for example.

But Into The Night starts to become annoying as you realise that the story doesn't seem to be really going anywhere beyond the sun becoming lethal. There's no real expansion on the mystery and in my case I started fast forwarding through the episodes towards the end of S1.

And then you realise that S2 has just moved from one interior micro-budget set to another.

I honestly don't know whether I can pluck up the stamina for S2. Maybe I will fast-forward through it.

Absolutely riveting. Would be interested in reading the short story this is based on 'The Old Axlotl', but would prefer to see where the series takes things first! Full of tension, and worth a watch.

Ayaz maybe is my favorite character among them all. He still has a kind heart although he did some bad stuff before. This kind of topic is very similar to the movie "snow piercer" which directed by a korean director and that come to my mind in the first second. but you call see more humanity inside this series, so I like this one more. how people act when they need to face such situation and work together to solve the problem. Looking forward to seeing the second season.

I didn't expect much when I accidentally stumbled across this new series on Netflix. Apocalyptic scenarios are not necessarily new; not even in the series segment. But the premise "the survivors have to flee ever further from the sun with an airplane" seems so absurd when reading that one cannot do anything else than to think beforehand "Okay, then I can at least do something else on the side".

The series starts off a bit confusing and rushed, just like the situation for the characters must be. At the end of the second episode I realized that I really wanted to keep looking. Right now. And until the end, I watched the twists and turns that the small group of survivors had to face again and again. I attribute a large part of this tension to the music. Not even concise or pushy, but with a steadily fast beat she is able to convey this typical feeling of "what's lurking around the next corner". At the end of the 6 episode series, I would like to know if there is a sequel. Apparently my first impression was wrong and I'm glad I tried it anyway. 7/10

@cthalin A sequel has not yet been confirmed, but if there will be a 2nd season it will most likely go into a completely different direction (if it follows the source material in any way.)

It's an interesting premise that could give birth to many awesome ideas (I kept thinking of what would happen if they had to be living this way for decades, that would be great).
What this show did was pretty good in my opinion, even though I expected them to run from the sun for a little bit longer.
But what brings this show down is the acting of some characters. Maybe I was more aware of bad acting because it is in my native tongue, but some actors really did an awful job. In particular, the black caregiver (Babetida Sadjo) 's acting pulled me out of it often, if not always. Some actors did a good job though, Ines, Sylvie and Rik especially.
The deaths did not carry near enough weigh as well. A detail is given to you about someone, so you begin to feel or care a little about this character, and they just disappear from the show.
Overall : good premise, good enough story, mediocre characterisation and some bad acting. Will watch season 2 for
Sylvie and Ines
(characters still alive) and the tiny cliffhanger.

A bit rough on the edges but heavily underrated. There is a good pacing on character development, the tension is at the right level and best of all there isn’t any politically correct agenda. On the contrary! Please note that I’m Italian and I’m the first to say Terenzio is an arse…

On the downside there are a bit too many, but forgivable scientific licenses. And as usual with Netflix’s not English shows the English translation is a mess with subtitles never matching. Still it’s very entertaining nonetheless.

Have really enjoyed this. Tense all the way and not so sci-fi to be ridiculous either. Not sure if it can sustain the enjoyment level after episode 6 but I'll defo be checking out season 2 if it comes. This is really fun and no I didn't look for plot flaws or inaccuracies. Just watched this as a popcorn flick and it's been highly enjoyable. Recommended.

Little predictable main story line, you can guess what is going to happen. Minor twists that dont alter main story. But definitely exciting to watch and two cute actresses from The Bureau (highly recommended).

This show is so good!
Think "Lost". But without all the mega weirdness. Characters are so well developed! You know nothing about them and they are all flawed in unique and detailed ways and the progression/unravel of their personalities are prefectly progressed.

The music? Holy cow it's so good!
Russian, French, English, Turkish, Polish, Netherlandish(?) - they all combine!

I really loved this series!
6 episodes (season 1) with about 30 minutes per episode.

Make sure to watch this if you like suspense.
