This is feeling like The Walking Dead. Take an interesting plot and focus so much on drama that it becomes boring. I'm all for character development but I sure hope things start to happen in the show. This is no Falling Skies nor Colony but it sure isn't The Expanse either. Jury is still out

They should have made one episode out of the first three with less family melodrama and maybe it would have been less of a snoozefest.

Yes, it has a bit of a slow pacing. Yes, it borrowed a lot from War of the Worlds. But despite this, it has very good acting, great computer effects, good story telling and enough tension to keep you skip to the next episode. If you consider this a War of the Worlds adaption, it is the best one. It More
