Joe Pera Talks with You

Absolutely comfy-core TV... despite launching with positive press apparently no one on trakt watched this. Too bad :/.

This show is downright incredible. Viewing the world through Joe's perspective is absolutely refreshing. The episodes mostly focus on a simple topic like rocks, beans, or going on a hike but mixed in is a recurring cast of interesting characters who's positive interactions build a small, pleasant, and funny world in Michigan. Through the recurring cast, the episodes manage to cover a lot more than the simple premise (like beans) and tell beautiful stories about friendship, love, life, and loss. Joe Pera did a fantastic job of pointing to the "boring" parts of life that we all experience in order to make you actually think about them, usually wrapped up with a wholesome moral. Only downside is the episodes are only 11 minutes. I do think the short format does benefit the show, I wouldn't mind 5 more minutes though
