I came to this anime because I was recommended it since I really liked the Monogatari anime.

I've already seen the anime Zaregoto and didn't like it, but due to the recommendations and criticism I was led to try this anime again. And I must say that I was not disappointed.

The writing style and direction go hand in hand and make this anime shine. Initially, I found the story to be quite weak, but it slowly grows and culminates in an excellent drama.

The focus of this story is romance. The two protagonists show in a super intelligent way how a romance between two people develops and changes everything, whether it be their own story or the history of a country. Because, at the end of the day, history is made by people and in this way it layers our perception of feelings and reality. And at the end of the day, there's art. It's even funny because the narrative is structured like a shounen battle, but its anarchic style, corroborated again by the direction, shows that it is a historical soap opera with a touch of fantastic realism. The author even leaves the door open for a prologue. But, this story is closed. I even reinforce that there may be much more than meets the eye, after all it has always been a theme in the anime. To what extent does Nision see Togame?

The answer is poetry because it is the only thing we have left.

The anime is good and very different from Japanese culture that values samurais. In fact, anime is originally part of counter culture. I really liked what I saw and I even see a more conservative author compared to Bakemonogatari. Including a novel with dramatic weight, but I liked seeing the special affection for literature and how an author like him sees the history of his own country. It's not a conventional anime, so if you don't have a certain cultural background, this anime isn't for you. If you still want to watch it, it's at your own risk....

P.S: If you compare to Bakemonogatari, this anime will lost. However, i truly recommend in the level of case study.
