People just want to know about the bad stuff. The pop mass doesn't care about what really matters, so comes this wave of canned products. This is a generic Baki, nothing against it. But this one is very similar, almost plagiarism. Because the characters' story themes clash a lot with each other. In Baki we have the condemned who don't die, here we have the condemned who doesn't die. In Baki we have the guy who was forged on drugs, here we have the guy who was forged on drugs. In Baki we have the drama of the wrestling fighter, here we have the drama of the wrestling fighter. In Baki the entire season takes place in an arena and corridors, here the entire season takes place in the arena and corridors. The main character is taken over by the devil. In Baki the main character has the devil in his head. In Baki we have the prisoner who forged his body with internal weapons (knives, bombs, etc.). Here we have the fighter who forged his body with internal weapons (swords, bombs, etc.). Both have shorts as their main outfit. And many other more subtle similarities.

Now let's get to what matters! Baki has a much deeper and better constructed story. A lot of morals come from that animation. This one is just entertainment, with dozens of anime clichés.

The only advantage of watching this cartoon is that the fights are really insane and well done. Especially the Boss fights! The Agit'o. Despite the context of Baki's fights being much better done, it has to be assumed that here the choreography beats Baki's choreography. However, the fact that Baki does not have the fight itself is also the artist's decision and that makes the drawing a milestone, because what matters there is the story and not the choreography, the fights are realistic in terms of decision (In Baki) , while in Kengan what matters is the dance (choreographed fights).

Most of the fight choreography in Kengan Ashura is top notch. The current pinnacle of fight animation.

But, the two strongest points of Kengan Ashura are:
Point 1: The design emulates a fighting game, Street Fighter, King of Fighters or Tekken style... It's as if we were watching a story mode of a fighting game. Or adapting these games to the cinema. It's great for anyone who likes these games. We even have random characters that imitate fighters, we have mascot-style characters, those weird and secret characters. It has everything!
Point 2: The antagonist characters are as well constructed as the main ones, and often surpass them. As is the case with Kuroki Gensai.

I believe that's it. I could write more about it, but it will take longer to write and I'll be lazy after you read it. Thanks to anyone who read it. So that's it, see you later!
