**MY THOUGHTS ON CHILDREN OF THE WHALES:**

Wow... This was magnificent. This is possibly one of the most beautiful Anime's I have ever watched. From the very first episode to the very last I was captivated. The only downfall it has is that they ended it only after 12 episodes when it could have very easily went on for 4+ seasons. I'll never understand why it was ended so early.

When you first start this you're given the impression that it'll be some slice of life happy-go-lucky anime that is all positivity and then **BOOM** the reality hits. This isn't some happy anime, it's brutal, sad and painful. My jaw dropped so many times whilst watching this, I even shed a tear at times. It has some of the most intense and beautiful scenes I have witnessed.

The concept behind this is beautiful too, the story keeps you watching and immersed and leaves you glued to the screen and waiting for the next episode to come on. The final episode opens up many doors for potential seasons with some potentially beautiful stories to be written. I'd love to know how the characters act when they realise there's more out there than they originally thought.

Whenever people ask for Anime recommendations I always recommend this one. It'll always hold this very close to my heart and remember it as the beautiful anime with a phenomenal story. I really wish it lasted longer than 12 episodes but hopefully one day someone will renew it and bless up with another season - one can only hope.
