But this is the most popular one by the creator for a long time, since it's creation - i dont know if that's still true. I personally enjoy shows about actual law (court &amp; lawyer dramas), but since this show isn't really that, I wouldn't call it a law show, i would call it a cop show, which the creator is obsessed with, and seems to be a huge obsession for many TV viewers. Doesnt make it good. :joy: Though, not all cop shows suck, either.<br /> <br /> Also this particular series and the other Dick Wolf series are more about making cops look good, than being a real show about anything. So my guess is a large percentage of viewers are cops, cop lovers, and people who don't understand how the world really is, or won't accept it, and need to escape into the fairytale. There are also a small percentage of people who get their first real on-screen acting parts on shows like these - so idk, i think actors watch their friends on it, too. Along with their families. Also some people who just like the genre. Combined, this makes a large audience... <br /> <br /> Most of the others go off air after only a couple years, but with this kind of audience, and the support of the police...
