A pretty solid blend of mystery, romance and comedy. Could have been wrapped up more tightly with 16 episodes, I feel, and the baddies could have been...badder?? but still loved it all. Cheong was the best.

The Legend Of The Blue Sea is just my whole entire heart. I'll be honest I started this K-drama a while back and just watched 5mins in and was like nah it ain't my style... BOY WAS I WRONG! I gave it another shot since a friend of my was speaking highly of it. Now here I am super obsessed with it and sad to know I finished it. I was hooked onto each episode wanting more and to never stop. The storyline was new to me and the blend of fantasy on to the rom-com was something I was just starting to get used to but I just loved this drama so much. It really is worth the watch. everything flows smoothly and nicely. Please do not let this drama go to waste because it really is a gem. Each actor and actress did an amazing job they really deserve credit for their wonderful acting. Now I need to find something as good as this which is the sad reality I have to live with..

AMAZING. AMAZING. SO AMAZING. The most perfect blend of romance and comedy and THINGS HAPPENING. You can be in any mood and still get sucked into this drama. Heck, you can be in a non-romance mood and still love this.

Its a good one. Have a bit of everything that you need in a drama. Won't feel bored at all.

loved this show a lot. beautiful one! sad they didn't give a second season but i guess that's how Kseries are like i guess!!

i loved it all right up until the crappy ending. Isn't the point of a happy ending for everyone to be happy? The romance and chemistry was sweet and perfect but then she has to go back to the sea and he leaves it up to her whether or not to erase everyone's memory. When she comes back no one can remember her and that is the ending. it never gets fixed. so after 20 hrs of me watching the relationships build, it's all lost in the last episode. No respect for viewers with this sort of ending.

it has all the classic elements of a kdrama; a problematic family, a mean stepmother and step sibiling, a tangled past, infuriating cliffhangers that made me binge this series, etc etc

but i like it!!! I cried & laughed out loud.

giving -1 for that ending. [spoiler] How could Cheong erased all the memories and how dare she came back after doing that??! [/spoiler]. episode 20 was totally unnecessary
