This show seems to have a few issues.

The first and biggest issue for me was the show could not decide whether it is a comedy or a drama. It veers between the two rapidly at times. You'll see the sarcasm and humor of a situation, only for the mood suddenly shift to a very deep topic about the complexity of a clone's life, feelings, and affection. It's like watching Comedy Central when they show the dog adoption commercials in between, you are having a laugh one moment then feeling terrible the next.

I think Rudd can do comedy and drama. I personally enjoy him in comedic roles the most though. He did a great job portraying two versions of his character.

The second major issue was that a lot of plot lines were never resolved. Side characters had interactions with the main characters, then simply disappeared
(Dan and his discovery, the technicians and their daughter (?), the one night stand, etc..)
. New characters were introduced almost for comedic effect, then were quickly given an excuse to never be seen again
FDA agents
.

The recap at the beginning of each episode I actually thought was a little neat, as it is always from another person's perspective.
You see the events through a different set of eyes, which sets up the actions that character takes in the episode. It also explains why in earlier episodes you see them doing certain things. It can at times show you that a character wasn't acting out of malice, but simply got put in a bad position.
I would be happy with a second season, if the show leaned more towards drama or comedy. Trying to walk this middle line I think keeps it from really excelling at either. If this is it, it did provide some emotional thinking points a clone could cause.
