An unoriginal, superfluous, subpar rip-off of _Toy Story 3_, which already had enough problems.
The dolls here are apparently magic, and no one freaks out that they can move and talk to humans.
They should've at least made them robots, to fill those plot holes and make the story more topical (even though _Time of Eve_ (2008) had already done this far more interestingly and competently).

I dropped this after the first episode. There was an ugliness in design and character that I simply don't want to spend time with. Unrelenting pettiness, meanness of heart and desperate sadness. Rust, dirt, decay, inadequacy and death. Nope.

It's Toy Story meets Edward Tulane meets A monster calls.
Last episode had me crying the whole time, but that's because I'm weak for these kind of movies. Ending was a bit predictable.
You could tell tha Zozo was going to be the antagonist from the first time you see him, it really wasn't that subtle...
Wow I really enjoyed this. Just clicked on this thinking I'd drop off after a few minutes but I felt like letting my Inner Child have some downtime. This is by Industrial Light & Magic, and the animation and CGI work is great and flows.

Childlike elements integrate with deeper themes and
darker betrayals, as well as overcoming adversity and oversized bullies.
Although this arc has ended, I'm sure Netflix and the creators could make a few more seasons, we need more of this!

The first half feels like a family friendly adventure while the second half is much darker, emotional and thrilling. I'm not sure what audience they were going for but i'd say 13+ ? The animation looks great! I loved the characters they all have such distinctive personnalities and they actually evolve over these four episodes. Very touching story at the same time with the family.
