I am going to give this documentary a fair review as I feel people are easy to judge, so let's start with the fact that this is a super solid documentary from Amazon. I think they showed both sides of this situation perfectly as people only see the scam side of this and not how this went from a regular company to an MLM and then straight into a pyramid scheme.

If you are interested in learning about MLMs or just documentaries about scams I would recommend this one big time, but I need to say ow the people who join LuLaRoe (not the founders or their families) are not stupid or idiots as the sad fact is people are desperate these days and you can understand someone giving you the smallest glimmer of hope might make you feel you have found something that genuinely might change your life and your families life. Those people who got in early are the ones I feel the worst for as they joined this company thinking this is the next big thing, but it went from a company giving people hope to then basically becoming a cult and a pyramid scheme and anyone who has ever been in either can sympathise and understand escaping that belief system can be extremely difficult.

Now as for the company, at first I thought "Well they just expanded too fast" but now I genuinely think greed has gotten the best of the people at the top and in particular Mark Stidham who basically is the one who started to give the company this cult feeling but also its big league sales pressure.

I recommend this documentary big time and the reason I discovered it was Roberta Blevins who was in the Documentary on Leah Remini's podcast which at first I was like "An MLM is not like a cult" but after listening to her but also watching this I totally understand how people can be enticed to join a company like this.
