It’s generally something I wouldn’t watch, but after seeing the trailer I was quite excited to watch it.

It’s my day of and planned on having a lazy day ish, but I didn’t expect I’d be sat suck to my tv screen all day. I’m surprised I actually paused it to eat lol.

Phenomenal all round show, fantastic performances from the cast, high budget and such a well thought out story and brilliantly portrayed.

It was thought provoking on many levels and even emotional in places; the latter I find doesn’t happen often when I watch anything.

One minute you think it’s all a hoax, then a believer and the cycle repeats.

Whether you believe in god or not, it’s a show any adult can watch. And it certainly makes you stop and question your own ethics, morals and what’s happening in the world around us...and that makes it a powerful show with a positive message, regardless of your religious views.

I’ve only scored it as a 9, but the season should be a 10, but it depends on where it’s going to go in season 2.

It’s binge worthy, so ensure you’ve time to watch as you may get hooked ;)

Regardless of whatever opinions the author may have had regarding current events and regardless of what Drago thinks about it being "propaganda", the emphasis isn't really on pushing those narratives but simply took a side for the purpose of storytelling (and everyone's always going to hate when you take a side, but whatever helps the story progress for "ENTERTAINMENT"). Wouldn't have cared if they framed the story a different way; in fact, most good stories out there already do point out when the US has done something awful (because the US does lots of awful stuff) for the sake of putting out a good story. Russia's no saint, either, so whether they did or didn't do something, who cares? It makes for a good story. Sure the CIA may have been involved with the Arab Spring, or the Russians may have, or whatever; the movie's not meant to be a frickin documentary - it's entertainment.

And yes, it's very entertaining, indeed. The outright blasphemy is refreshing, although it seems that there might be more to the character we'll never know. It's a bummer that well-written heretical stories never last long (except perhaps DC's Lucifer). Wish they'd make another season of Messiah.
