As the grandmaster who founded the Demonic Sect, Wei Wuxian roamed the world in his wanton ways, hated by millions for the chaos he created. Ultimately, he met his end at the hands of his dear adoptive brother, Jiang Cheng. Over a decade later, he finds himself incarnated into the body of a lunatic and runs into a former classmate, Lan Wangji. The two men with opposing personalities delve into the mysteries of spirits and ghosts, while Jiang Cheng suspects that Wei Wuxian has returned.

I had no idea Chinese anime can be so good. I've absolutely loved the no BS, no fan-service, just pure adventure, action, mystery, well made animation and incredible music. Fully completed by such an interesting and captivating story. I really hope this is not the end of this story. I'd love to see Wei Wuxian again, although season 3 ended as well as it could. Recommendation for anyone looking for something similar: **Heaven Official's Blessing** (Tian Guan Ci Fu), although in this show the 2 friends are even closer to each other, bordering romance, while in Mo Dao Zu Shi it was just a very tight friendship.
