Returning to her hometown after an 8-year absence, Nora Schweihs is back in Chicago to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding the burial of her Father, alleged hit man, Frank "The German" Schweihs. Pia Rizza, daughter of one of Chicago's most hated government informants, is focusing on raising her daughter while her friend, Christina Scoleri, the scrappy daughter of mob thief and safecracker, Raymond Janek, is trying to navigate the minefield of a divorce. Leah DeSimone lives at home with her "truck driver" father, Billy "The Wolf" DeSimone while Renee Fecarotta Russo struggles with issues of trust following the death of her beloved Uncle "Big John."
