Moesha and Hakeem hit the first bump in their romance when Hakeem spends more time away from Moesha. But a surprise visit from old boyfriend Q makes Hakeem realize that he could lose her. Meanwhile, Frank gives Dorian the opportunity to work with him at his job, but later he gets arrested by the police for stealing a car from the Saturn lot and also with carrying $5,000.

While working at a fast-food restaurant, Dorian comes across a stranger by the name of Patience who offers him a job where he can earn ""fast money"". Meanwhile, Hakeem announces to Moesha and Niecy that he's moving in with girlfriend Tiffany, pushing to the surface some suppressed feelings between them.

Moesha plays matchmaker for Theresa who's been having trouble meeting guys. So Mo decides to hook up Theresa with Hakeem's friend, Noel, but Mo thinks that Noel is just playing with Theresa's head. Meanwhile, Myles accidentally punches Dorian in the nose because of his unnecessary slurs towards Frank.

As the tension continues to rise, Frank thinks that the only way that's possible to break some of the hostility is to let Dorian have his birthday party at a teen club. Sandy visits to find out why Frank told Dorian the secret and why he didn't wait as they both planned. Meanwhile, Moesha meets her new roommate, Theresa Logan, from Dillingham, Alaska.

Moesha stays the weekend with Niecy in her dorm but she doesn't like the idea of Niecy inviting a stranger over who seems to what more from Niecy than just a new friendship. Meanwhile, Mo explains the facts of life to Dorian after catching him getting amorous with a girl while the rest of the family is away at a wedding.

Moesha dreams that Hakeem kisses her when he comes over for breakfast in the morning. Moesha's feelings for Hakeem are tested when she, Niecy and Hakeem decide to share a cabin on a ski trip sponsored by the university. An angst-ridden Moesha confides in Niecy about the dream. Niecy, who's suspected all along that the two are secretly in love, tells her that dreams reveal one's true feelings. That night, Moesha dreams that Hakeem joins her in bed. This time, Moesha is so disturbed about the dream that she tells Niecy that she wants to cancel going to the mountains. Niecy forces her to talk to Hakeem because they won't be able to afford the trip if she backs out. Hakeem takes Moesha's dream lightly. Later that evening, Hakeem dreams that he goes to Moesha's house and passionately kisses her.

Moesha and Niecy's friendship is tested when Piper moves out and Moesha moves in. Moesha later becomes a bother to Niecy. Meanwhile, Dorian tries to get away with purchasing extra items on Frank's credit card and lying about it; leading to Frank to give Dorian a tough ultimatum.

Niecy tells the Mitchells that she heard a rumor that Andell is losing The Den. After stopping by The Den and learning that the result of the rumor was true, Moesha goes to Frank to see if they can do a fund-raiser to save The Den. A company called Biggs Mortuary plans to buy the property and replace The Den with a casket store. Moesha goes by to see Mrs. Biggs to appeal on behalf of The Den. During a farewell party, Moesha tells Andell that she has saved The Den. instead of being happy, Andell is angry. Moesha didn't realize that Andell really wanted to leave to do something different with her life. Andell is able to persuade Mrs. Biggs to buy The Den again. The next day, Moesha, Hakeem and Niecy help Andell move out her last few belongings before they say goodbye to one of the most important places of their lives.

Frank finds a case of birth control pills in the trash. He asks Dee why she's taking the pills when they're trying to have a baby. She tells him the pills are Moesha's. Frank is angry with Dee because she concealed the fact that Moesha started taking birth control pills. Dee tells Moesha that Frank knows about the pills. Moesha tries to apologize, but Frank's too angry to discuss the matter. Later, Andell comes by to find Frank alone. When he tells her about the pills, Andell relates his experience to one she had with her father. She questions whom Frank is trying to protect--Moesha or himself. Frank asks for Dee's forgiveness and apologizes to Moesha. Meanwhile, Moesha stands up for Dorian when he's wrongfully accused of stealing.

While trying to keep up with the social life of college as well as the academic life, Moesha and Niecy are invited to their first college party. After getting heavily drunk, Moesha's faced with having to call Frank to pick her up. But Dorian comes to the girls' rescue by secretly taking Frank's car. Meanwhile, Myles, influenced by Dorian to change his image, dyes his hair and wears baggy garment to impress his classmates during his first week of junior high.

Musical guest: Mary J. Blige Moesha has decided to forego college since she's been offered a writing position at ""VIBE Magazine,"" a hip-hop journal. While her parents don't support her decision, her friends envy all the stars she'll meet at the magazine. However, it turns out that the position is not as a staff writer, but as a gopher. She's only submitting stories to the editor Joe Scott. Joe calls in the receptionist, Kasey, because she made a mistake on an important message from singer Baby Face. Everyone assumes Kasey will be fired, but she's surprisingly promoted to Marketing Director. Andrea, a co-worker, tells Moesha that Kasey probably slept with Joe to get the promotion, implying that Moesha may be propositioned too, since she's trying to become a staff writer. When Joe asks Moesha to a Mary J. Blige album-listening party, she assumes he's going to proposition her. She confides in Andell, admitting that she's just a gopher who's looking for her big break. Moesha turns 18 and the gang decides to throw her a surprise birthday party but Kim spoils it by telling her. But the real surprise for Moesha is when all her former boyfriends, Ohagi, Q, Jeremy and Aaron, all stop by to show how they all want her back. But Moesha doesn't want to start over with any of them- except for her former teacher, Channing. After realizing that a relationship between them wouldn't work, Moesha and Channing both decide to just remain friends.

Musical guest: Johnny Gill After Andell thinks her relationship with Bernie is headed nowhere, Earl Thomas, Andell's college boyfriend, returns to rekindle the flame by proposing to her. Meanwhile, Frank overreacts to Dee's urge to keep a picture of a young man from her past.

Moesha throws a slumber party with her girls, Kim and Niecy, to reflect on the good times they've spent together before they leave for college.

Moesha's singing dilemma is illustrated in a 1950s-style sitcom episode, a la ""I Love Lucy,"" about an audition for a Broadway revue.

Musical guest: LeAnn Rimes Moesha and Kim have a fight over Kim's unprepared college plans. Later, MTV's ""FANatic"" picks Moesha to escort Kim to meet country singer LeAnn Rimes. LeAnn Rimes gives Kim and Moesha some good advice on how to remain good friends. Meanwhile, Hakeem accidentally sees Dee naked.

Hakeem takes a job instead of pursuing college.

Moesha and Hakeem are bummed to learn that Eddie have them working on Christmas Eve. She tries to find a good excuse so that she can finish her last-minute shopping. An elder man visits the store to apply for a job, but Eddie tells him that they haven't hired anyone new in awhile. Later, the unemployed man is now dressed as Santa Claus and holds the entire store hostage.

Musical guest: Big Pun Moesha and her friends visit Charisse, Moesha's cousin, at Maynard University during Prospective Freshman Weekend. While there, they tour the entire campus and meet new friends (Iris and Mervin) as well as Moesha's ex-boyfriend Aaron. Old sparks flame again for Moesha and Aaron, but she becomes more interested in Mervin. Later, Mervin slips Moesha a drug in her drink, but Aaron comes to her rescue. Meanwhile, Myles has a slumber party.

A new teacher starts work at Crenshaw High, and Moesha makes a bold move and kisses him. Worrying about the consequences involved between teacher-student relationships, Channing decides to leave Crenshaw High for good.

When Frank and Dee find a marijuana cigarette in the house, all suspicion leads to Moesha. After wrongfully accusing Moesha, they are all shocked to learn that the joint belonged to Myles.

Five months later, and Moesha still hasn't returned home. After Kim forgets to purchase tickets to a sold-out concert featuring R&B singer Brandy, Moesha decides to spend her weekend alone with her new beau, Aaron, a college student whom she met over the summer. But when Moesha starts to push the relationship further (mainly due to her strange suggestions), the two break up. Later, Moesha, Kim, Niecy and Hakeem attempt to get into the concert. Backstage, Moesha meets Brandy who gives her some advice.

Morgan throws a co-ed slumber party and Moesha invites Kim, Hakeem and Niecy. At the party, they find out that the boys sleepover, too. Also, Niecy finds the courage to talk to Marco and Mary Ellen tries desperately to get into the party. After seeing Jeremy dancing with various females, Moesha finally decides to talk to him. Meanwhile, Frank and Dee have a romantic evening at home, but they're interrupted by the news that there are boys at the slumber party. After seeing Moesha walking downstairs and holding hands with Jeremy, Frank scolds Moesha; resulting in Moesha moving out.

Moesha and her friends all decide to take a road trip to Sea World, but their trip ends abruptly after Chris causes them to get kicked out of the amusement park. So they all decide to travel to Mexico instead of going home. While in Mexico, the gang enjoys themselves until Moesha looses Morgan's car keys and Moesha is faced with the decision to call her parents. Meanwhile, J.W. and Andell are invited over to dinner, by Dee, to celebrate their anniversary of their first date; much to Frank's chagrin.

In need of money, Hakeem gets Moesha a job at the clothing store where he works. But the new manager begins to take advantage of Moesha.

Mary Ellen, editor of Bridgewood's school newspaper, doesn't give Moesha a chance to write for the paper. So without much ado, Moesha installs a rival paper called ""The Blurb."" But she gets so wrapped up in writing her paper that she neglects plans to celebrate Andell's 30th birthday party.

Dee's enterprising brother, Shelby, visits and offers Moesha a money-earning opportunity, but Dee questions his future success.

Musical guest: Kenny Lattimore On a date with Jeremy, Moesha runs into Q and his new girlfriend Tammy. Moesha still has feelings for Q as he does for her. Confused about where their relationship stands, Q asks her out to dinner. But after arguing and sorting out mixed feelings, Moesha and Q decide once and for all to just remain friends. Meanwhile, Myles' girlfriend is a little ""high-maintenance.""

Moesha becomes the manager of Q's group, CPQ, after a local radio station plays their record demo. But they're faced with a dilemma when Morris Day decides to sue them for resampling one of his songs. Dee can't seem to remember her first date with Frank.

Moesha's new classmate, Jeremy Davis, shows an interest in her, but he later disappoints her when he tries too hard to impress her friends. Meanwhile, Dee goes on strike after no one seems to help her out around the house.

After her teacher gives her a 'D' on her creative writing assignment, Moesha writes a screenplay; imagining a world in 1945 where jazz and blues are the setting.

Hakeem meets a beautiful woman, Jennifer Sutton, at the clothing store where he works. But when she starts to show an interest in Hakeem, he lies about his age. Moesha and Dee both don't approve of Hakeem's relationship with Jennifer but Frank assures them that nothing's wrong with them dating. Later, after feeling guilty, Hakeem breaks up with Jennifer.

Grandpa Roosevelt Mitchell visits along with Uncle Bernie. But Frank soon suffers when Grandpa treats him different than Bernie. Moesha tries to talk Q into attending her family's barbecue, but he declines.

Fate hands Moesha a chance to be alone with Q--and to get caught by her parents in the middle of a kiss.

Moesha asks Hakeem's estranged father to come to his son's surprise party.

Pressured by Dee, Moesha enters a modeling contest only to find that it conflicts with a lecture by an author she admires.

Vice-principal Dee kicks Q and two other players off the basketball team when their grades slip, jeopardizing the championships and Frank's sales at the sponsoring car dealership.

Moesha works off a punishment by helping an elderly woman, who wins her over with tales of the Harlem Renaissance.

Mo and friends have a turkey of a Thanksgiving road trip to Arizona.

The man Kim catches with advice from a how-to book may not be the man of her dreams.

Moesha's on-again off-again romance with Q is on again--since she won tickets to a hot concert.

Pressures mount at home for Frank and Dee over the decision to have another baby.

The school's star forward needs Mo's help to slam-dunk his SATs; Frank takes a fertility test and wants a second opinion.

Classmates gear up for a rumble at the gym in the aftermath of Kim's prediction that Teresa would steal Moesha's man.

Moesha becomes intrigued by a classmate with a "roughneck disposition"; and fertility is a subject of contention between Dee and Frank.

When Frank and Dee tell Moesha and Myles about their plans for another child, Moe gets upset and Myles runs away from home.

Moesha's school-paper exposé of a party that kids skipped school to attend may get her--or all her friends--suspended.

Dee's niece Charisse may be the catalyst to warm up relations between Moesha and her stepmom.
