> If you don't love yourself .. you can't love someone else.

More than Friends is a story about Friends that are special ; those that touch your inner soul and change your perception of love and self confidence.

Lee Soo has life changing impact on Woo Yeon in highschool and she falls for him while Lee Soo is slowly changing thanks to Woo Yeon he has to runaway from his life in Seoul due to his parental situation and hence friend-zones her.
Jun-soo is similar to Woo Yeon getting over a long term crush not surprisingly in kdrama by coincidence they meet and she dates him but Woo Yeon has transferred the curse to Lee Soo and he is no longer a migratory bird and starts facing his feeling ; this starts another love triangle ; the show is full of cliches, but I was weirdly not mad about them at all. I saw these plotlines in other dramas, I should be bored, but somehow I wasn’t. Why? Coz I cared for these characters. I was emotionally attached to them and was genuinely interested in their stories; the other characters ; friendship and the character development of Lee Soo (only)

**Love it or Hate It** Being honest with everyone: there isn’t anything amazingly fresh nor outstanding about this show. Whenever you will like it or not depends all on whenever you will like the characters and their interactions. It’s another show about a confident jerk male lead and a nice and madly in love female lead who is willing to get dumped countless times and still cannot give up on the dude. What is surprising tho: they are both somehow likeable (many would disagree, so don't quote me on that). I wanted to slap Soo back to reality more than once, but I also loved all his scenes and found him to be an interesting character. Woo Yeon, even tho desperate with her unrequited love, still seemed like a strong character that is slowly gaining more confidence and learning how to put herself first. The flaws were presented in a way that made me curious about the development, rather than annoyed with their current state.

Both Lee Soo and Woo Yeon had great chemistry even as friends but Jun-soo not so much
so this makes the end game pretty obvious ; although for some him being a generous punching bag feels dreamy but such unicorns doesnt exist and he falls deep deep into love even when she told she can never love someone else as she has given everything to Lee Soo
. The other couples had similar problems ; over come self-esteem , pride and start leaning other. With 2 supporting couples bringing something different to the table. We got comedy and we got melo. Such a striking difference, but even when their scenes were one right after another, it never felt disconnected or like they belonged to a different show. The flow and transitions were just right.

Overall for me it was just a fun romantic comedy that had a good amount of sub plot surrounding the main one. Nothing felt like useless fillers for me . Do I think this show could have been shorter? Sure. I honestly believe getting 12 and not 16 episodes would be ideal, but I have exactly the same opinion about ALL romantic comedies. They are just not meant for a longer format. The last 4 episodes were painfully full of cliches and I rolled my eyes so hard.
**If you can ignore a over-confident-icy male lead and a desperate love that is seemingly embarrassing every moment of first few episodes you will thoroughly enjoy the show ; there is no story climb without falling into ravine first**

What does it mean to do something over and over again expecting a different result? That's right, INSANITY! This show really tested my patience. It was very repetitive to the point where you thought story lines and dialogue were established only to be force fed the same predictable lines and situations all over again. How many times can a girl fall into the arms of a man? It felt like I could start a drinking game every time Woo-Yeon was grabbed by the hand or trips into someones arms. I feel sorry for the person(s) that had to translate these episodes. If you enjoy torture give this one a go.

It's exactly as bad as the synopsis made it sound and its execution was 10 folds worse. I feel sorry for older cast such as Ahn Nae Sang and Kim Hee Jung to have this drama in their resume. The entire drama was disastrous enough but the leading cast was the worst part of it. The actors/actresses themselves and their respective characters were failing and stumbling every step of the way with no chance of recovery.
