Timeless. Just as funny as when I saw it 15 years ago. Atkinson is a genius of visual comedy.

A classic, had a lot of laughs, also has the nostalgia feeling, especially the Christmas and new eve episodes.

It was only moderately funny when originally released.

Seeing it today.( Sept 2020) . Its dull, with horrible canned laughter.

Netflix's version is zoomed in from the original 4:3 aspect ratio, there's now a fake)/ digital camera movement to show parts of the frame that have been cut out.

Almost all scenes look too tight, missing tops of heads, floor gags and props.

Fun, timeless slapstick comedy! I have a soft spot for creative pantomime.

While the last shows had a feel of repetiveness over them, it is no question that the arrival of "Bean" was a fresh breath of air after decades of sitcoms and shows about comedic dialogue and here Rowan Atkinson channeled the old Keaton/Chaplin slapstick humor but in his own British witty way. There are several classic moments of pure comedic gold in this show.
