This is a slice of life drama. While being very dramatic at some parts, pretty much all of it is well executed. It has slowly become one of my most remembered series and with good reason. The character portrayals by all parts are believable and relatable. It doesn't try to go out of its way to push anything on you.

At the start of the series, you don't really understand quite what's going on. But as the series progresses it slowly gets unpacked and by then, you already feel the character's predicaments.

As a forewarning, this series might be a bit too depressive for some. So if you're looking for a fluffy rom-com, this is definitely not it.

If on the other hand, you'd like to see IU doing a great acting portrayal, then this is the series you've been looking for. All her other works can't even get close.

I'm sorry, this didn't do it for me.
The story was good and I enjoyed most of the characters, except the male lead.
He was so boring and didn't make me root for him.
I couldn't care less what happened to him.
Also think 16 episodes was too much.
Had to endure it to see what happened to everybody else.

Petition to remove the romance tag

A true gem. This is one of the best shows by far.

One of my favourite dramas! It is more or less the story of two simple people, lost in their lives, society, their issues, who find each other. The characters are interesting and the story is believable and touching. I really like Lee Sun-kyun and IU, and their acting here didn’t disappoint. I definitely see myself watching it again in the future and I recommend it for sure. Whether you are learning Korean or not doesn’t matter, it’s just a great drama.

A slice of life of many interconnected people that is often fairly depressing. Beautifully shot. Strong performance by IU and the cast in general.

This show killed me. I loved it so so much. There is so many moments that had me in tears! Do recommend

one of a kind series. not your usual Kdrama fare. highly recommend of slice of life genre is what interests you.

10/10. A must watch for the serious Kdrama fan.
