Totally agree with Paholainen. As a comedy, this misses, which is why I rated it so low. The parts where he talks about himself and his father are interesting and thought provoking, but definitely not funny. I actually felt a little depressed after watching this; not the reason why someone watches a show billed as a comedy. This guy might be a funny writer but he just doesn't have what it takes to be a stand-up comedian.

I felt like he was using this show as a form of therapy. As he stated, it was his time to stop hiding and step out front and into the open. Perhaps he just needs to reevaluate his life from a different perspective. Being a writer for comedy shows is not hiding. It is simply doing what he does best. He is better at the behind the scenes writing and others like Dave Chappelle are better performing the material. I think he just wants the same fame and attention those performing his work receive. He needs to realize and accept that this is just not his thing. He is not a performer. It is a testament to his success that he was given this show in the first place. He should be grateful for his writing talent and success rather than longing to be like others.
