I wanted to know a little more about how he became the way he did, but I feel like the editing and narration was done really well in this documentary. The thought of someone having no fear walking into my place at night already scares me, but the Night Stalker was especially gruesome.

I really enjoyed that this show focused more on the detectives and their lives. But I still wished for maybe one more episode that focused more on the backstory of Richard himself. Think it's important/interesting to show that too.

And I have read on some sites that some of the crime scenes were too graphic and gory. Which I don't see at all and even if they were I think it would be important to show the absolute evil of the Night Stalker. Altough I did think some of the crime scenes dramatizations were filmed in a weird kinda fancy and over-cinematisized way which I feel is kinda disrespectful towards the families of the victims.

_Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer_ is a documentary that offers a fascinating look into a little-known true crime case. The series provides a thorough and detailed examination of the infamous Night Stalker, who terrorized Southern California in the mid-1980s. The documentary is masterfully crafted, with a narrative that keeps you engaged from start to finish. The show is also successful in its portrayal of the investigation, and it showcases the efforts of the detectives who worked tirelessly to bring the killer to justice.

A new insight into different perspectives, not much new information if you're already very interested in true crime, but it's cool to see it all put together in a tv show. Liked hearing about the victims more than I have before

[Netflix] Although it does not seem to mean it, the series reveals the incompetence of the police investigation against a serial killer who acted without hiding his face. The show uses the resources of the fictional thriller to give a stylized texture to the story, which can be debatable in a production that pretends to be a documentary investigation.

This feel like Netflix has got to get in on the genre, and it feels like they thought they should get in on the "I’ll be Gone In the Dark" buzz and vibe, but like many cash-ins, this is about half as good.

Overall a great documentary, although it may should have been called "Night Stalker: The story of the detectives", because it's more about the detectives and their story, than Richard Ramirez. More insight to his story and why he did what he did, would have been great, not just some audio clips of him.
What all the journalists had to do in this docu is beyond me. Pointless.

This was a really good documentary and we'll put together. It was informative and respectful towards the victims, had good interview clips and included some really good reenactment moments. Overall a really good watch for those interested in true crime cases.
The one thing I can't get over is how this disgusting man gained a 'fanbase'. He was a murdering and violating pedophile with horrid hygiene and disgusting teeth. Who the fuck would want to put him in an idolised position like that?

Well, that was something!
The storytelling, the recreations and the screenplay were great. Documentary it self was about the chase itself not why he's like/did that (which I'd have loved). But overall great/disturbing series!

The only shocking thing I found in this documentary is the fact that serial killer Richard Ramirez had a fanbase. Yeah because nothing says sexy in a guy then a nocturnal, murdering, pedophile with poor hygiene and horrendous teeth.
