Let's start off with the good news: the cast is phenomenal. The acting is on point and the cast is just all physically stunning (nothing wrong with some eye candy). Let's just say that Chinese actors with blue eyes is something that I would very much be onboard with seeing more of.

Now the bad news (and there's unfortunately a lot of it). This shows throws you into a situation without much to any exposition. You expect that it will get better, but it just gets worse, but at least you learned that after the first few episodes. Nevertheless, if you're like me, and you see a budding romance taking off, you stick around to see what happens. The show traps you in and you lose track of the issues you have with it...at least until you get about halfway through the series. Then you start really picking up on it's flaws. It picks up plot lines and drops character development and story arcs like a highly paid juggler. It's almost impossible to keep track of character and story progression and after a while you feel dizzy even trying to make sense of it. I was about 20 episodes in before I really regretted my decision to keep watching this show. I decided I needed to know how it ends and suffered through the rest of it. Episode 28 is an absolute disaster. It's so bad that they had to go back and remake the episode due to all of the complaints they received about it after it aired. At least they gave us a somewhat better ending, but either way you look at it, neither ending really makes sense and doesn't fit well with the overall series. My biggest beef is that they really messed up some great characters. Certain characters could have really turned out to be strong individuals with incredible stories, but they screwed up every single character's story without fail.

I very rarely rate any shows this poorly, but this was a mess from start to finish. If you do like good acting, attractive actors, and a really interesting concept for a story, then give it a try. If you also want to waste 17 hours of your life, look no further.
