You won´t find a better nature/wild life documentary than BBCs Earth series. The level of work and dedication that went into this is amazing.

Judging from the first episode Planet Earth II is going to be just as spectacular as its predecessor.

The sequel of the 2006 documentary is a much more advanced and technical spectacle -- with just as amazing views of our beloved world. The sheer beauty of this planet, different wildlife species shown closer than ever, the emotional score for each episode makes it one great experience. A true masterpiece.

With all the hyperbolic special effects, Trumpisms, other isms, and opinionated directors and producers occupying the top niche quality shows that entertain and educate (trying to get you as close to the truth as possible) often take a back seat to monstrous lies by politicians, entertainers; and biographies painted with artistic license. But if one is being rigid with standards then I defy anyone they know of to name at least ten series on television that both entertained and educated. (Note: I didn't say there weren't 10 such series, but rather the societal impact of the show was so negligible most people wouldn't remember it anyway.) But if you want the supernatural from reality watch one of these shows where and African rock python swallows and adult hyena, or a Golden Eagle rain down thunder and lightening on its intended prey-a full-grown wolf. I don't have this religious thing sorted out yet, but if there really is a Heaven, then when I get there they'd better have this show in their cable package.

So much of the media these days consist of hyperbolic untruths, Trumpisms, and spectacular special effects to mask quality of the product (news, movies, commercial goods, etc.,). This is one of the few shows on this planet that is both entertaining and educational. Hell! I'd show this at at an elementary school in place of some culturally-inclined individual with a teacher's permit and political loyalties any day of the week. I don't care what anyone says anything that goes on screen should educate at least a little. This show also had the best narrator in the business-David Attenborough. If there really is a Heaven, then I expect them to have "Planet Earth" in their cable package.
