I knew the show got cancelled before I started to binge season four, so I was a little nervous about how it was going to turn out, but I have to stay I thought they did the series finale very nicely. While on one hand you would like to see the show get picked up by another network for a weekly dose of Burt & Virginia, it's nice for a change to see a show end before they extend its life so long they run it into the ground with sub par seasons (the examples are endless). This way, Maw Maw can live on in our hearts forever.

The show is becoming really lame, following in the footsteps of My Name is Earl.

A very cute funny little TV series that follows a low income dysfunctional family evolved around a young child and her father. There is a lot of stupid and racial humor but that is what makes the whole show. But the emotional side is fair as well, but they could have done better to make the audience feel more connected to the characters. All in all just a stupid slap stick TV comedy.

Just finished watching the series finale, binged the entire show in less than two months. Season 1 and 2 were excellent, season 3 was very good, and season 4 was still good - but I had some complaints. I understand that the show's creator (Greg Garcia) stepped away from the show ahead of season 4, so Mike Mariano picked up the gauntlet. I feel like the writing got worse with season 4, but there were still some standout episodes.

Also, I would've loved to see Frank and Shelley's relationship flourish - but it was weirdly sort of abandoned. Nonetheless, great show! I don't know if there would be enough interest, but this is a series that could receive a reboot if the original cast members were willing to do one.

But I'm a weirdo who doesn't watch holiday themed episodes when it's not currently the time of that holiday, so I have a few more episodes to watch when Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas roll around.

What a solid show. A family sitcom with a bunch of heart and outrageous humor. Between the outlandish adventures of Burt and Virginia, the randomness of Maw Maw, the stupidity of Jimmy, or the wise ass remarks of Sabrina, this show has a little bit for everyone. While the first season is clearly the best in my eyes (most likely because Maw Maw is at her craziest), the show continually had great episodes throughout its four seasons. I think as the show went on there were more "misses" of episodes, but it always remained easy to stay in tune and enjoy it all. The show runners were smart to end it when they did, which prevented repetitive plot points or seeing the show destroy itself. Overall, if you like family sitcoms I think you will appreciate this show.

I cannot believe this got the ax. THis is by far one of my favorite shows to grace tv for a long time now. I'm really bummed it got cancelled, they made their four seasons and they'll be in sydication....but DAMN!! :(

We are in our last season folks, last 1 hour long episode will air on March 4th.
Kinda sad but it was inevitable I guess... the move to Friday evening didn't particularly help either. Oh well, hope they at least had some time to plan and finish the show properly with the last episode. :)
