> A story about friendship and hard-work but endlessly frustrated by the Ahjummas

At first, I didn't want to watch Sassy Go Go because when I read about its description, it was purely about cheering and competing in a cheering competition so I was very hesitant to watch it. This show was actually better than expected considering how school dramas are not my cup of tea. I really liked some of the dialogues and how it showed the importance of friendship, hard-work and passion.

PLOT
-------

It started with the two clubs fighting with each other and how they were forced to team up and eventually became best friends. I was so hooked up initially with the story because it wasn't just about cheer-leading or about love, it tackles lots of different issues that are present in today's society which makes it much more interesting to watch. At times it felt like I'm re-watching School (2015) series.

This isn’t just a light hear-ted high school drama. It’s shows real life’s situations students go through. There’s self harm, lying, cheating, friendship, romance, scandals and can’t forget cheer-leading.

CAST
------
Lee won Guen was an egocentric, funny, handsome and kind main lead, I loved the character and Eunji ( reply 1997 ) has strong character who find the good in even the worse people is amazing . They were like cat and dog who always fights whenever they see each other, but eventually, they grew up, began to understand and empathize with each other, and finally liking each other.

Ji Soo is embroiled with a bully scandal so i almost didn't pick the show but the character was flawless
although it felt forced to make him a second lead on top of being abused by father , self-harm
I really enjoyed seeing chae soo bin not as a female lead but a slightly negative character! I like how she was portrayed as someone who is rude but deep inside she was really really scared. This is her best performance ever and she managed frustrate me a lot but peel pity at the same time

I also liked the conclusion with the parents
how didn't let either couple to sacrifice their love in the end
.

VERDICT
----------

The story was interesting as it did not only focus on Kim Yeol (LWG) and Yeondu (Eunji)'s romance. It focused on the school's corruption, parents who are too obsessed with grades, students who are depressed and have suicidal thoughts etc.

Overall I would totally recommend this dram especially if you're in the mood for short, fun and lighthearted drama with some pretty important messages. True to its name, the drama really Cheers you Up!! but in the end the story fizzles out and dragged or rushed for some reason
