That was quite an interesting series. I rather liked the jarring tonal shifts between cute slice of life and zombie horror. The series also did a pretty good job at not playing its hand too soon either. The first episode does a good job of just enough hinting that things aren't quite right, before the reveal at the end. To be honest I initially did think Megu was already dead because of how the rest of the group "ignored" her, but because some of the episodes flashed back to when she wasn't, I wasn't so sure, so the reveal was still pretty effective.

I really liked how the OP "decayed" more and more each episode - it made the cute J-poppy song more and more jarring to the tone of the series.

I wasn't too keen on the rather poor CG, but sadly this is pretty standard these days for most series without a budget. The series had some pretty effective horror moments but it didn't always hit the mark, and some episodes felt like they meandered around a bit.

Still, I definitely enjoyed it. A rather strange series where you're not really sure what to expect.

There is a lot in this anime to make it interesting and a great watch. In the beginning of the first episode it felt like a Slice of Life but the end you'll see what this anime actually is. The mix of Slice of Life and Zombie Thrill makes it unique.
The only part which I didn't like was the Climax as it was a bit more to the Slice of Life side than the thriller.
I would definitely like to watch another season, because there is definitely more to it. :fingers_crossed:

It was a somewhat forced ending, but it ends well. I was expecting something more, I liked the last 3 chapters more than the previous 9, I didn't read the manga but if the ending is the same it makes sense.
The scene at the end of the girl picking up the drawing, we know who it was? I was left with a doubt.
I would like a little more to be explained about the zombies, since the teacher wrote the names of the girls and it seemed to me that she was trying to open the box where the cures were, I think that was missing in explanation more so since I feel that this issue was left unfinished, being the main enemy.

The plotline and mixture of horror and school life is interesting, but I will say the ending was kind of lackluster. Other than the dog which was crazy, it kind of felt a little unearned and empty since they skipped a lot of exactly how Yuki was able to save everyone. Regardless, still a pretty interesting anime.

It has become absolutely one of my favorite animes. I just can’t even find a words on how much I loved this story and it's characters. It started out a bit silly, but then as the plot started, it sparked a lot of emotion in me. I’m sure I’ll watch it again and even read the manga.

Yuki, Kurumi, Yuuri and Megu grew to my heart in particular. They had the kindness and warmth I loved in them. I managed to like Miki too, but it didn’t become my favorite like the other girls. Oh and of course Taroumaru... I love him too, it's true he's just a dog, but he added a lot to the story too.

I think it’s worth watching at least once because it’s an emotional anime. It’s a strong story that portrays friendship and perseverance well.

I can‘t agree with most of the comments here. I understand why the producers wanted to create this mix horror with comedy. Because you need that in situations like that but it doesn‘t fit. First of all you want to survive and don’t play „fun games“ in the middle of the undeads.

As one of the comments wrote: I can‘t identify with one of the characters. I mean you don’t necessary need to identify with one but with that few characters there weren’t many choices possible.

Overall it kinda bored me more than it entertained me. And no I‘m not a horror fan and I didn’t expected something like that. And yes the anime had some good moments [spoiler]Megumi reveal[/spoiler] but that’s it. 4/10

It had nice comedy scenes and I really like them but I had feeling that it does not fit here. I was really emotionless during every episode and I did not find here my favourite human character as usual. Only exception was last episode when I cried a lot and I was really sad. It crushed my heart. [spoiler] I cannot believe that Taroumaru died. I felt so sad, I was crying. The only one character that I really liked and had feelings and emotions for it. [/spoiler] Yeah it was cute anime but I think cute anime with zombie apocalypse... well it is not working together.
