With Roberto gone, Emma is left feeling empty and lost. She tries to distract herself with work and spending time with her friends, but the longing for Roberto is always there. She writes him letters every day, pouring out her feelings and thoughts, hoping that he will read them when he returns. Meanwhile, Roberto is going through his own challenges in the military, but he holds on to the hope of being reunited with Emma.

Roberto asks Emma to stop hiding, as he can no longer bear this situation. Under Roberto’s pressure, Emma makes a big decision! So, one night, secretly from everyone, she gathers her things and escapes with him. They wander around with Roberto’s motorcycle, as he vainly tries to calm her down! It’s impossible… The panic that ensues in the house after Emma’s disappearance is indescribable. However, the same panic also affects Emma, who once again backs out, gathers her things, and returns home, unable to follow her great love!

Emma, during one of her visits to Roberto and Petros’ apartment, forgets her glasses there! Unfortunately, Sophie finds the glasses the next day! This causes chaos in the entire factory… Eventually, rumors reach Jenny and Dorothy’s ears, and they start suspecting that Emma is involved with Petros! Meanwhile, Emma, in a panic, reveals to Monica that she is involved with someone younger, while Jenny decides to find out the truth. One evening, when Emma and Roberto are in the apartment, Jenny barges in. The story of Emma’s glasses has a happy ending. Emma manages to patch things up, but leaves everyone with many questions about what is happening… Meanwhile, Roberto decides it’s time for everyone to know about their relationship, as he can no longer stand the secrecy. He tries, in his own way, to make Luke, Sophie, Dorothy, and Jenny understand! When Emma learns what’s really going on, she goes crazy! But despite all her shouting and threats, Antonis continues his efforts…

The entire factory is invited to the engagement party of Spiridoula, the cleaner. Initially, Emma doesn’t want to attend. But after Roberto’s insistence, she decides to go, albeit briefly. The tavern where the party is held is brimming with joy! But Emma, annoyed because Roberto is constantly talking to another girl, drinks heavily and takes to the dance floor, while Sarah tries in vain to restrain her. At the same time, a truck driver flirts with her relentlessly… Sarah brings Emma home in a bad state, but worse awaits her there! A drunken Roberto and the truck driver invade her home…

Emma decides to spend some time alone to contemplate her relationship with Roberto. She accepts an offer from a factory employee and leaves with Sarah for a village outside Miami, without telling anyone! Back in Chicago, Roberto is desperate to find out where Emma is. As soon as he finds out, he shows up in Miami, much to the surprise of Emma and Sarah.

The calm in Emma’s house is shattered by the arrival of Giuseppino, an old flame of Jenny’s. Initially, everyone reacts negatively to him! But eventually, they succumb to Jenny’s persistence, and Giuseppino stays.

Emma collapses, but she feels she has no other choice. Her nerves are exhausted, and she asks Roberto for a break-up.In her desperation to see Roberto, she and Sarah organize fake birthdays for Monica and invite him to the party. Roberto shows up, but the reunion doesn’t turn out positively for Emma, leaving her to deal with the aftermath of their breakup.

Dorothy announces to Emma her decision for Roberto to leave the house because she can’t stand the comments from the world. Emma is furious, but of course, she can’t react. So one fine morning, Roberto packs up and leaves. The house is filled with melancholy. Roberto is missed by Emma, Jenny, and Monica, but none of them want to show it. So all three, with ridiculous excuses, start going to his apartment. The problem is that they go without knowing that all three are together. And of course, Roberto doesn’t know who to prioritize…

As the factory faces a downturn, Dorothy finds a solution in merging with another company. The godsend appears in the form of Savvas Triantafylou, an elderly factory owner who has his eye not only on the factory but also on Emma. Dorothy, secretly from Emma, gives him hope and Kouli becomes increasingly pushy. When Emma finds out, she furiously demands explanations from Dorothy who tells her that Savvas is interested in Monica. Meanwhile, Roberto becomes insanely jealous when he learns of Savvas’ intentions…

The festive atmosphere makes Emma even more melancholic. As the preparations for Jenny and Roberto’s official engagement continue, Sarah tries to help Emma by using completely unfair means to break off the engagement. Something she does not manage. However, on the eve of the engagement, while Emma is home alone, Roberto suddenly comes in and they fall into each other’s arms. They spend their most beautiful night together so far. But Zacharoula, Roberto’s mother, senses something and, infuriated, she calls off the engagement. Emma is unable to hide her joy.

After his fight with Emma and his departure from home, Roberto returns drunk and threatens to tell everyone about his relationship with Emma. Emma panics and tries in every way to keep Roberto’s mouth shut, but the biggest shock for her comes when she catches Roberto in the act with Jenny in a passionate romantic encounter. She realizes that she has no place by Roberto’s side.

As Emma and Sarah continue with their plans Roberto throws a jealous fit to Emma about Luke. Shortly after a quarrel escalates and Roberto leaves the house.

Monica suspects Roberto ́s peculiar behavior. Therefore she hires a detective to investigate his phone calls. After receiving a CD with Roberto ́s phone conversations she finds out that he has a mistress. The news about the scandal have gone public and Emma tries to find a way to destroy the CD.

After constant pressure Roberto manages to go on a date with Emma. Thanks to Sarah ́s advices they decide to stay in a hotel. Yet the romantic evening ends in a paradoxical way as during the road trip Tom pops up in the car. Emma and Roberto return as soon as possible back home where something unpleasant awaits them...

Having no other option Emma meets Roberto in the storage room. Suddenly footsteps are heard and they try to hide. Making her do something that stupid Emma speaks ill of Roberto in front of others. In order for them to reconciliate, Monica and Dorothy make a plan.

Having a stressful week Emma decides to make a trip to Rome to visit her daughter. At the hotel she meets Roberto in the bar. After getting drunk, Roberto brings Emma to her room and makes love with her.
