A fucking excellent anthology that's also very, very effective and very, very powerful with what it's trying to say, and even goes as far as to provide these ways of fighting back against a system that is still very much in place, but using history as a sort of blueprint. It's awesome! Amazingly acted and filmed, beautiful in so many different ways, and each episode really just stands alone on it's own, I think. I wish that a couple of episodes were longer, just so I could see more, those being Alex Wheatle and prooobably Education, just because it feels like there's so much to unpack, but not enough time to get into it. Overall, though, it's great!! Being able to just have these overarching themes across all five films of community, protest, and just anger at a rigged game is fucking incredible (and personally I think Lovers Rock is able to handle all of that as a culmination of it all, it's so fucking good)
