This was a very light and fluffy show that was enjoyable to watch throughout the week but it was nothing new or too unique. But if you need something familiar and wanted to watch an enemies to lover trope than this is a good watch. It did have some issues though that took away from it being an 10 for me.

Guen-young's character was great. She had great male and female friendships. The male in the friend group had no romance wither either of the friends which I also really liked. They communicated well and were there for each other but also had clear boundaries, which was nice to see. Her relationship with her parents was also amazing. They seemed to actually like each other and the fact that her parents did not push her towards trying to get with Who Joon and instead punished him for treating their daughter so horribly was good to see. I think in a lot of the Kdramas and Cdramas you see the parents forgiving the guy way too easily as soon as they find out that the guy is rich and handsome. But these two actually stuck up for their daughter. The story could have been better had they included more interaction with the friends and parents. Also at times they portrayed her as dumb when she was technically a journalist. (The scene that comes to mind is when she drawing a triangle between JJ, In-hyung and Who Joon but can't come to the conclusion that they are in a love triangle or when she gets lost in Japan some of the things she does is beyond dumb)

In contrast, Who Joon's relationships were a bit more predatory. Most of the people around him were making money off of him or were people that had betrayed him in some form. And though he was raised by his mom she was never there. So I think this set up a good way for you to forgive him for anything he does that isn't great. But he genuinely was a nice person except when it came to Guen-young. Though he does become nicer to her over time he doesn't do enough to really redeem himself. This was one of the two main reasons that the rating went down for me. He made her suffer a lot and some of it was because of his fans but he never really tries to protect her and when she gets into situations that are partially his fault and production teams fault he doesn't help at all, though when they finally are in a relationship he gets better about it. But I feel if you portray him as a good guy he needs to be a good guy regardless of whether they are in a relationship or not.

The support cast was also amazing. Sung Hoon as the JJ's crazy older brother did his role perfectly. But I think Mi-Jung, Soo-hwan, and Ji-hyang did the most amazing job. Mi-jung was just a character in her own way and really would put things into perspective for Guen-young but also was way more perceptive than everyone around her. Though she had her own brand of crazy she bought the group normal and logical thinking. Soo-hwan was a great friend and would come in and help whenever needed. He also stood up for her a lot because they were in the same field. I think these two characters (Mi-jung and Soo-hwan) were under utilized on this show. Would have loved to see them more.
As for Ji-hyang, he was the best in everyway. Though he also made money off of Who Joon, he genuinely seemed to care about his well being and happiness. And the random clips we saw of him laughing at Who Joon and Guen-young were also amazing.

The worst thing about this show was the relationship between In-hyung and JJ and the ending they were given. I think the Webtoon did a better job of making In-hyung likable and JJ the villain. And giving them a redemption arc for the show would be ok but they were not likable in any sense of the word. Both of these two were manipulative and abusive towards each other and everyone around them. They constantly put their own dreams and goals in front of any relationship that they had with anyone. In-Hyung obsession with fame and JJ obsession with Who Joon just made them look mentally unhealthy. But to have these two end up together and everyone friends was not deserved. They did not do anything to redeem themselves or to make amends for the poor behavior. But this is why the show went down on the ratings so much. It just did not make sense to do this.

Again, it was a good show and I enjoyed watching it. I think the main couple had good chemistry with one another and the supporting cast was really good even if the second leads were super annoying.
