I love the twist: the original “host” is playing a big part in the whole time and you are “destroying” her(by making comparison) if you changed to suit your “present”. The ending is very Taiwanese and very teenage: you can fix it and navigate it to the “correct” course as long as you “awaken” and control/fasten/face your “dark” past/customs. However, in the real world, we don’t have many such self-disciplined people who are willing to sacrifice their existing establishments(e.g. their own children). The choice made in “About Time” is more reasonable for me.

This show hooked me from the first episode. The writing is fantastic and so complex. The time travel plot had me on the edge of my seat every episode. It made me cry so many times, and the ending was perfect. I also have to give major props to Alice Ke for her performances in this show; she knocks it out of the park! It's such a tall order to play two different characters in the same show, but she does it with such skill. Absolutely a must watch! Also, I have been listening to "Last Dance" on repeat.
