A motley crew of young rebellious aliens commandeer an old Starfleet ship and must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search for a better future. End of this month I'll turn sixty. I _really_ like this show. I _am_ reminded of when I was twenty-eight, and _really liked_ Doctor Who, and, then learned, in England, it was primarily a kids show. Begs the question: What is the target audience of this Nickelodeon show? Just don't beat yourself up if you also.... Or, is the question, "You may be a Trekkie if...you enjoy everything Star Trek"...? And, be gentle, with yourself and others. (quote from Shunryu Suzuki: "Instead of criticizing, find out how to help.")

More bottom of the barrel TV posing as Star Trek. Not as bad as Lower Drecks but then again nothing can be, but it's still terrible.

Ahh, the sound of the nattering naybobs of Trekdom furiously trying to clap with one hand. You see, unless a program meets the narrowly specific parameters of what they will accept as "proper" Star Trek lore. Reminds me of those YouTube videos of entitled 16 year old's getting a new Lamborghini or B More

Today I enjoyed: Star Trek: Prodigy.

Up front: This is a kid's show, and I am pretty certain, that makes it harder for me to find a fair judgement. Although I like to think that my inner child is still very much alive.

Looking at the animation I was prepared for disappointment, but the writing is so amazing that I actually like the look of the show now, even if it does resemble Planet Sheen. *Shudders*
