This Emmy Award-winning series recounts the events and battles of the Galactic Republic’s last major war - the Clone Wars. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi leads an assault on the planet Muunilinst, home of the Intergalactic Banking Clan; his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, is appointed by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to lead the Republic’s space forces. Meanwhile, Separatist leader and Sith Lord Count Dooku takes in Force-sensitive gladiator Asajj Ventress as his Sith apprentice, and tasks her with eliminating Skywalker.

A little (way) over the top, and I'm not sure if it is canon anymore (or if it ever was) now with the introduction of the Clone Wars animated series (that I haven't seen at this point). It's quite good however - from an animation and cinematography point of view. Much more interesting and enjoyable than the clusterfuck prequel movies themselves and quite possibly my favorite piece of Star Wars fiction so far.

Loved it. All of the characters are 100 times more badass. Even the clones have achieved maximum asskickery.

So happy to see this on Disney+ now. I used to watch this thing a thousand times when i got it on DVD. I remember always showing i to my friends and have them be blown away. especially that Mace Windu scene.

Well, this was quite an interesting experience. Especially when you’re used to the other Clone Wars series.

Animation-wise this one is very unique. Done by Genndy Tartakovsky (of Hotel Transylvania fame) the character design is unusual (I enjoy it all, but Padmé), movements are very over-the-top More
