I was really looking forward to the show when it was announced: Interesting time period in the Star Wars universe with lots of possible plot hooks, interesting characters in the crew, etc. This sounded like a lot of potential.

After watching the first couple of episodes, I'm a bit underwhelmed. It's not bad at all, but it could have been so much more: The stories are quite simple with straightforward plot ("mission of the week" structure) and – so far – lack a deeper story arc. Furthermore, the characters are often acting a bit childish, which doesn't really seem to fit to the general tone of other stories in the franchise.

I know, this is supposed to be a show for kids and young adults, but that doesn't mean you can't establish a complex, interesting story and an environment with love for little details. Series like The Last Airbender or Legend Of Korra have proven that, why can't a widely loved, rich universe full of stunning tales and adventure like Star Wars have something similar?

This is a really well-written show- IMO, it manages to catch the attention of kids and adults alike!

It could have been more, yes. But hey, this is an XD show. At least we don't get to see fluffy rabbits going zZz instead of gunshots killing the target.

I like it a lot! It's funny, action-packed... it just lacks depth, but I'm ok with it as it is.

Animation looked good in the 15-minute preview, Startrooper's armour was a bit shinier -- but it looks to be more kid-centric than Clone Wars :-(

Fantastic final episode to the season! This show just keeps getting better, I just hope they keep making it as it does justice to the Star Wars story.

After Start Wars The Clone Wars I didn't know what to expect with Star Wars Rebels, and it was a pleasent surprise with a simple story to start off with and I think they spent the first season introducing the characters and building up the story, and the second season turned out to have more twists and turns.

It's meant for both kids and adults, and I for one enjoy the show very much, I honestly look forward to it. If you like Star Wars you will enjoy this show for sure! Epic ending to Season 2 and I can't wait for Season 3.

Stop Disney Destroying Star Wars!

Although they allocate huge budgets for star wars movies, they cannot achieve the success they have achieved in this animated series or clone wars series (unfortunate).

I've seen all four seasons, some episodes multiple times and I still can't remember what happened. It's like eating your favourite food in a dream. You gobble it all down, but you feel still feel empty. And then you wake up, hungry, longing for that food. And like most dreams, you forget about them.

It's a bit like The Clone Wars - starts off pretty slow but gains its momentum around the end of season 2

season 1: a painful slog, but necessary. finale is pretty good though.
season 2: pretty good, like an average season of TCW, mostly because of [spoiler]returning characters[/spoiler]. Finale is especially good.
seasons 3-4: absolutely killer. It's worth getting through the first seasons just to watch the late show. The ending leaves me wanting more.

My only real annoyance is the animation style. Characters are too "bouncy" when they talk, it's an off-putting stylistic choice that persists to the end of the show. If TCW was too stiff, Rebels is too energetic. I never got used to it, but that didn't keep me from enjoying the show.

The characters grew on me as the show progressed. Everyone's pretty unlikeable in season 1 but later seasons really flesh them out. The show as a whole brings some interesting elements into the SW Canon universe.

Can't wait for Rebels characters to reappear in future live action SW media.

Star Wars rebels was truly a work of art.
