@guenguer yeah, exactly what i think also. Superman is my favourite character but CW ? Flash, Batwoman and these crazy teen scripted shows does not give much hope. don't know yet. i will probably watch one or two.

@guenguer Well, Walker is ok so far, so I'm going to give it a shot.

After the Direction Supergirl as well as the last Episodes of Arrow (not to mention the Batwoman disaster) took I'm not hopeful - if its good, I'm happy - if not I at least have something new to complain about :)

@guenguer I don't know why people like making comments on shows they haven't seen yet. Dumbest thing on this website.

Not as bad as I was expecting it to be. They're moving pretty fast, not dragging it too much. At least the first episode was quite decent.

Season one is absolutely amazing but half way through season 2, the typical CW woke ass messaging gets started. Such a shame. This was one of the best new shows but soon will become garbage like all the other DC Comics shows on The CW.

wow... maybe it was because I had so low expectations for this show, bit this first episode was really good (in my opinion). I had given up on the CW/DC bit this might bring me back. Hope they keep it good like this.

This is THE show for me of this year. Never thought I may comment like this when watching the first episode. This is a successful piece for both its superheroic part and, especially, the stories of the figures without a super power. The especially amazing part of this show is that it shows a decent thought experiment about how to live with people who are more powerful (at least in some aspect) but still keep independent, useful, and respectable. For superhero fans and non-superhero fans---which means everyone, I sincerely recommend this piece.

Business Men; wanting to create jobs and work is the “new evil”… if you can’t understand the “issue” with this…

Otherwise apart from the obvious and extremely deplorable ideological bias of the show, the screenplay, actors, etc.. enjoyable.

If you can look past and stomach the pervasiveness of the nonsense, you may enjoy it. Hopefully it’ll get better in future seasons.

I won’t hold my breath, I expect the series to be done in a couple seasons at most.

@clem16 I disagree with you. This show doesn't look like it has an ideological bias (In contrast to Supergirl that throughout all its runtime it should say "Paid for by the DNC" as a subtitle).

This show actually explores the merit of both sides of the argument about the issue of unions which is what you're talking about. If you watch the show objectively, you see that the narrative doesn't portray one ideological side as definitely right, while the other is wrong. As much as Lois is adamant about unions and convinced that Edge is just an evil guy, you'll see she can't counter Kyle's arguments about those issues.

The screenplay, actors, and direction are all great. I think it really captures the spirit of Superman and what Superman should be about.

Strong pilot but the pacing slows down with each episode. Some of the characters like Jordan are super annoying, and the acting / written dialog is at times terrible. A lot of teen drama, the villains motivations are rather unclear and Superman seems completely wrong and helpless with all of his decisions

Probably one of the best shows on the CW so far. The dialogues are really mature, no random misplaced music playing and has a great pace for a TV show - much better than the latter seasons of the rest of the Arrowverse.

I expected higher quality, since the show is part of the new batch of CW shows, but this far exceeded my expectations.

Had low expectations for this show, mainly due to the network that was producing it, however, I couldn’t be more surprised. The show is more drama based than anything, but that said, it’s been awesome to watch the director and writers take the show in a direction that’s based more on the family dynamics of the Kent family than it just be another action-superhero bit, which is where I think CW has a tendency to fail when trying to cash in on our iconic DC and Marvel characters.

The show isn’t spectacular by no means, but it absolutely has me coming back for more. The teen actors are growing into themselves — thank, God — because it was rough there in the beginning acting wise for some of them, but they got better, the writers tweaked their characters, the director tweaked their takes/perceptions on their characters’ scenes and over time it was easier to watch them help carry the show.

Can’t wait for season 2!

This is the best DC Live Action Show/Movie. It's not saying much, but we should always encourage steps in the right direction.

I want to like this show, but I hate the way it's written.

It's seems to be the template for each and every episode that some character starts a big **"yelling fight"** with someone, then wants to apologize about it at the end of the episode, in a quiet warm **"hug moment."** To me that is the definition of **fake drama** and it's so annoying!

Superman & Lois Is A Show I Was Looking Forward To Watch But CW Tend To Have A Habit Of Dragging Things Out But The First Episode Was Such A Surprise - I Gave Up A Lot Of CW/DC Shows Because They Dragged The Story Out And It Became Too Slow

This Wasn't The Case With Superman & Lois From The Get Go This Show Set The Tone & It Was Exciting To Say The Least - A New Superman Who Seems Like The Right Type Of Clark & A Family Man Which Is Something They Haven't Done Before - Honestly It Didn't Feel Like A TV Production While Watching The Show - And Tyler Hoechlin & Elizabeth Tulloch Have The Perfect Chemistry As Superman & Lois - They Avoided Any Ties To The Previous Arrowverse Shows Which Gives This A Clean Slate & Honestly I Like That - Superman Has To Deal With Being A Hero & A Father

The Show Was Far More Entertaining To Watch & I Am Excited For This Series

Very good characterization on the part of Tyler, true that when he went out in Supergirl it did not seem that it was going to be Well.

An exceptional lois, a strong and determined woman without forcing situations

An excellent graphic section and a very good soundtrack, good photography.

Excellent series, highly recommended and apparently quite different from the other series of the arrowverse

One of the reasons why I stopped watching all the Arrowverse shows is because I didn't like Tyler Hoechlin as Superman. But this one's interesting and new from all other incarnations of Superman, we get to see him as a father. I just wish there wasn't a human baldie villain named Luthor this time around.

I am not good at writing reviews. Just wanted to say THIS SHOW has started out to be absolutely amazing. The production value is as good as a full feature. Great CGI, acting, script - The Pilot kicks off the season with a very positive high. I truly hope it maintains this finesse throughout and may we see many more Seasons of this

The pilot episode exceeded my expectations. A really good beginning to the show, looking forward to the next episodes. I felt like watching a feature film, not a tv show - the CGI was on point! Good job CW - hope that you keep up.

I don't get the hype for this. It felt like any bad CW DC show with it's usual drama.

I'll stick to shows like Doom Patrol, The Boys, Umbrella Academy and Marvel shows. If I want to watch DC there's the animated movies that come out regularly. Stargirl is good too, but they'll probably inject some CW drama in S2 as it's moving there.

This is a quick review of the eps since the return of the show after the impromptu bug pause. The show is kicking it out of the park, seriously! Some were thinking the show would lose its direction on but I'm very happy to say it seems more like there is a better focus on the characters. There's some seriously great acting by 'Lois' in ep08.

Ever thought of being A Superhero trying to juggle saving the world and making not only a relationship working but keeping a whole family purring along? If you are a Clark Kent or a Lois Lane these Superheros are making it work. I think that's what's so good about this show... It's not a show about that's already been done and done well, but this is a whole new look at this Superhero Duo as mom and dad with the trials and tribulations of the importance of making a family life work. I recommend everyone watching this. Hoping it won't be smashed to a pulp with SJW politics. That would be bad, especially with how good it's started. Well done writers, cast n crew and network! Well done indeed!
