1985 serves as the backdrop to the final showdown of the Cold War when Sandy and her partner Jeanne Vertefeuille vowed to find the mole that would turn out to be the most notorious traitor in US history, Aldrich Ames. Pulled from the air by ABC after two episodes... like, seriously? I mean, it was a mini series to begin with, even if the ratings sucked or whatever, why not let it run its course? I'm pretty sure they got all episodes shot already and ready to air. Oh well, it wasn't THAT good, sure, but I had hoped it would tide me over till "The Americans" returns soon. :P

So this jewel, also a part of american history, had no place in TV?! I guess it didn't have enough nudity, vampires or marvel heroes... A pity... Glad I caught the summer broadcasts.
