An hilarious, brilliant and well-written show with great acting!

Brilliant show. After MTV Faking It was not renewed, I had to follow my actress. Happy I was loyal. Funny and enlightening.

Love the girls, love the topics and most of all LOVE the music. Whoever is in charge of picking the songs for the episodes need a friggin raise because they are KILLING IT!

Well written and heartwarming. The best aspect of the show is the friendship between the girls. It's portrayed in a realistic way, you feel you are really in front of three friends.
Secondly, there's a female mentor for these girls in their boss, which is pretty unusual in shows targeted to women.
The show is really feminist and makes a lot of points smoothly and boldly.
Overall, it's a fun show but also a good representation of women.

I love this show so much, freeform really hit a home run with this one.

However, while watching season 2 I have some questions: 1) When did Jane get so annoying? 2) Where the hell is Alex!? 3) Not a question but more Sutton please [spoiler](she belongs with Richard)[/spoiler]

If you came with the preconceived idea that the audience of this tv show is limited to females (women) with ages ranging from their early twenty to thirty something, you are up for a surprise.

How can someone have rated this show 5/10 when it doesn't air for another 2 months?

So this show pretends to be feminist, inclusive, yada yada, but really when you watch it with your brains switched on and analyse a bit, you should realise rather quickly that it's all just like a mask they put up to pull in the audience, but it really isn't any of that. It throws words like "feminist" and "queer" and whatnot around rather carelessly, without really knowing what they mean.

It follows pretty much all the tropes around a bunch of mostly immature women and men with misogynist perception of themselves and the world around them. Sure, in some episodes we have themes like "let's make it about misogynist topic x and get really wrapped up in it but then toward the very end lets realise it was misogynist and maybe make that curve ball work", while the solutions in the end typically are weak.

It's a nice, enjoyable watch for when you just want to relax and don't question what's put in front of you, but it really isn't entirely what it says it is.

And that's me after having seen almost up to season 3.

This show has its high points. I like the characters and the drama that surrounds them. The only issue that I noticed is, starting with the second season, the stories began to have underlying messages and address social issues. While this was totally fine, I found that they made it a bit too obvious to the point where the show felt very fake? (For lack of better words). I think they could’ve have been more subtle with it and still gotten the message across. But overall, I still think this is a cute show!
