With an unexpected victory in the radio show Microphone is Yours, Perica's singing career got a new wind in her back, and performances performed one after another. In her private life, she cannot boast of such successes - her marriage to Željko is over, and Nada is in the hands of her fiancé. Even the friendship with Žnid is under great test. Perica's only consolation is the agreed performance in Tucman, Zagreb's main dance party, which should confirm his star status.

Perica Šafranek is a Croatian-Serbian language teacher at a Zagreb elementary school, torn between dreams and reality, between her caring mother Ana and her ambitious wife Željka. His best friend is Žnida, the son of the late owner of the inn K Žnidaršić, which was nationalized after the war, but Žnida runs his not always legal business from it every day. The sudden death of Perica's aunt Ernest Fulir will trigger events that will change the lives of the heroes of this story.
