From the screenwriter of Vincenzo and Good Manager(Chief Kim) it comes a surprise I dropped this show on the first episode ( before i watched both of the other 2 shows) but had to finally give it a try as Netflix is retiring the show (yesterday). I forced myself to watch till 8 (16 ) episodes and then i could see the glimpses of Vincenzo and Chief Kim ; the reason being Fiery Priest from the beginning relies more on comedy and takes about 1/3 -1/2 show to develop the characters ; so I rate the show based on three parts :

1-8 ( 1-16) : Average ; the bad guys keep winning and except priest and except the rookie detective no-one is interesting : 7/10
9-14 ( 17-28) : Good ; the counterattack begins and we suddenly got shitload of interesting support characters in the Young Priest , Nun , Yo-han , Thai Immigrant , the detective and the enlightened lady prosecutor . They all turn the heat up and suddenly the good guys are smart and winning : 8/10
15-20 (30-40) : Great : Classic finish by the screenwriter ; the revenge is mild compared to vincenzo and serious compared to Chief Kim. 9/10

Excellent performance by the 3 main lead and the villain ( lol i saw him Oh My Baby and didn't expect to see a 180 reversal in role). But I really like Geum Sae-rok the young detective amongst everyone.

I will always cherish the swag BGM "Fighter" by Jung Dong Ha and EuraChaCha RUN RUNby RA.L

Did they have to bring a freaking [spoiler] POPE [/spoiler] in the end ? ROFL LMAO

this is the kind of show that is most enjoyable when watched weekly and a looses its flavor when u binge watch 20 hrs of it within 48hrs deadline. I am excited for Season 2; is still not coming ?
