At one season this would be been a worthy watch relative to the time investment. The second season was bad beyond explanation.

The attention to period detail and the quality of the acting was well above standard. I dare to say that Sean Bean carried this series. As previously stated the plot was underwhelming and stretched. It could have been covered in a movie easily. I was also dissapointed with the ending. It was way to contrived and left me dissatisfied. I am glad to have watched it though for the atmosphere coming from sets, clothing and that visible breath was inspiring.

It's worth a 2-night binge. Once again, an interesting take on the Frankenstein story. I definitely liked season 1 more than season 2. I might even recommend for you to just watch season 1 and skip season 2. Also, season 2 just kind of ended on a whimper. How I rate: 1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too 9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!

Generally good/great in setting, props, acting, filming. Underwhelming in story and use of source material. Feels like the whole buildup of 5 episodes was for the last sixth episode alone. But the resolve to this show was, again, underwhelming. If someone would ask what I take away from this after watching it, what's most memorable, I'd perhaps say the periodical time was nicely re-created, you could even see the breath of the actors in the "diner". Says much about the impact the actual story leaves, doesn't it?
