Woah, is this confirmed as coming this Summer (@sp1ti? :P)? All I can find is early indications that it's coming "soon".

I'm eagerly anticipating this series. The Visual Novel it is based on was really, really good. Of course, the anime adaption could turn out to be terrible, but I'll be watching it anyway :P

Yehhh, there isn't official word about it or any date on their website but the staff is known along with the studio so it might as well be summer. If not I'll just move it down. I just check/add them randomly from a tab I've always open and to make sure I'm not forgetting them I'll just add them to a season list.<br /> Seems legit http://i.imgur.com/VQXSGLw.png :o?

@sp1ti Well I hope it is that soon. I do know that this was announced months/years ago though so it's been a while coming. Like I said, I really hope we get a good adaption for this one. It has one of the most awesome MCs ever (no, really...), pretty funny comedy and some really dark shit later most of the heroine's routes.<br /> <br /> Bearing in mind that the game is a trilogy though, there is a lot to cover. Hopefully they'll pace it sensibly, maybe even bank on a second season to cover the later stuff (assuming it's well received :P)

With the slab of S2 specials coming out I just wanted to leave a little warning here. The Fruit of Grisaia is not a good show. It's a hot mess of a visual novel adaptation that decided that it's a good idea to combine all the different routes you can play into 2-3 episode arcs. Not only does this mean these routes are heavily condensed but you also get mood whip-lash and 5 times the traumatic backstories in a short time which is more funny than anything else.
The second season also ends in a harem lovers dream which is not a pretty sight. The specials also make it apparent that a huge part of the VNs is the porn as those try really really hard not to be hentai (the MC is quite the pussy slayer).

Grisaia, as with quite a few other VNs recently, will be getting an official English release. If you liked the anime series and want to see more, you can either pledge to the KS now, or wait for the steam release. It should probably go without saying that the Visual Novels cover the material shown in the anime in a far more detailed way.
