I discovered this on Get TV. I learned it's a sitcom adaptation of a dramatic film. This was back in the times when TV (known as the boob tube) had a negative image compared to the realm of cinema (& still does in a way). It did okay, but when "fantastic/supernatural" sitcoms were trendy in the '60s/'70s it wasn't successful enough to last up to a hundred episodes like "Nanny & the Professor" which I also saw on Get TV. But one positive contribution is Charles Nelson Reilly as Claymore. After growing up watching him on game shows such as "Match Game" I finally get to see him in a sitcom. He was also on the also-forgotten children's series "Lidsville."
