If you have ever seen or been involved with low-ish budget theater, community or otherwise, you know how things can go wrong. Everything does in this show, with near-prefect comedic timing.

I don't quite know what to think of this one. I feel like I don't "get" it.

It just feels like badly written theatre to me (otherwise called theatre amirite hehe). The quirk being that the props go wrong in extremely timed ways. If it were improv or the going wrong part was randomised maybe it would be fun to see the actors walk/talk around it, but it isn't. It's very scripted and VERY particular.

You should give it a shot regardless. Just don't try to force yourself through more episodes hoping it'll click.

Stumbled on this while waiting for Would I Lie To You. What the hell is it? A group of adults making stupid noises and shouting at each other with a background of canned laughter. Why oh why have the BBC wasted money on this series! Not sure what person this show would appeal to. 3 of us sat here watching it and not one of us has found any part of it funny. It's pretty terrible when you find the closing credits the most entertaining part of a show.

All I can say it is the only programme since the Carry On films that have we collapsed on the floor in agony with laughter - it is a complete workout - I just adore it!

The most consistently laugh out loud comedy series I've ever seen. Every episode has had me bust out in full laughter. It's an utter delight of watching actors miss cues or forget lines or have props trigger incorrectly or often collapse. Something that successfully managed to never overstay it's welcome.
