Sadly this is Nordic Noir coming true. As a Swede I remember when this story was unfolding just a few years ago saying this is nothing that is supposed to happen in real life, only in fiction. I love however that the show focus on the investigation of the crime rather than on the crime it self. The script is great, the main characters is great, the acting is great, the direction is great. A must see but not for everyone.

It's just sad that some people said that the show is not good because does not mention the killer's name or even show him. To me is one of the main merits of the show. But I guess is like Erik said just not for everyone.

Focused on the investigation of a real event, the series manages to be addictive despite the fact that it eliminates the direct presence of the accused and the victim. The focus is exclusively on the complicated investigation process, the frustrating search for evidence, the compilation of a vital puzzle. It surely has the best Swedish and Danish cast in a series in recent years.

Christ, this is slow and feeble. As a Dane who didn't pay attention to the case as it unfolded in the news, I sincerely hope that our police aren't as fantastically inept at investigations as they are in this fictionalization of the case.

This was the tamest and most laid back police procedural series I have ever seen. The investigator in charge of the case was very quiet and restrained, never losing his temper really, quite unusual for this kind of show. The atmosphere and scenery weren’t what I expected for a foreign entry.
