This woman is a chameleon! Because an actor paints from the palette of their own life experience, look and mannerisms, (which, unfortunately, can lead to a person playing themself in all their roles), It is very seldom that you find a performer that disappears into a character. Eun-bin is that rare reformer. Her portrayal of twins in this piece was flawless. Her performance won her 3 KBS Awards and 1 Nomination. The story was laced with tension and pathos. This binge rob me of sleep as I bargained with myself, “just one more episode…” (which was as successful as the false promise of “one more peanut”). The historical detail was fascinating for a westerner. The morality was surprising in a brutal ancient time. I give this series a 9 (thoroughly enjoyable) out of 10. [Perieod Drama]
